Jezza pissed himself last night, not really, I actually kicked him and he knocked his bourbon all over his crotch and my floor. sometimes, and not all the time - because all the time would unhealthy - its nice to sit (or lie) down in a position of supreme comfort where to move from that position would be so much of a disturbance to the mental and physical completeness you have found yourself in that you could possibly neck yourself. all the time is unhealthy for two reasons. the first reason being it takes time to relax, and thats time most of us don't have thanks to an amazement of commitments and deadlines. thus it is unhealthy to our heavy schedules to be this comfortable. the second reason being, to do this all the time would be analogous to listening to your favourite album way too much, or taking too many drugs, you just get over it or used to it, and you never get the feeling of your first listen or hit back. which is shitty. but in saying that we still do it none-the-less. and to make matters worse, it is not an easy task to reach this level of comfort; a whole variety of contributing factors need to be perfect before the mind and body allow it to occur.

two aids to this comfort quest are valium and music. the right dose of valium and the right selection of music along with a darkened room, soft pillow, headphones allow all opportunity for space out comfort.

so pop some valiums and give raw man a listen. it works for me.

Who's Action Dj's?
Couple of kids from the Gold Coast, super stoked on the status of the Australian music scene at the moment with influences coming from Sydney and Melbourne. Started putting together a couple of live mix sets for friends. Got heaps of positive feedback from everyone on the first couple so decided to make them a semi regular thing!

What they've done?
Got a bunch of mixes complimented with a hugely unexpected amount of downloads on each. Had their first gig with Van She Tech and Miami Horror at a local club event on the Gold Coast called First Kiss over the Labour Day weekend and are playing with the Lost Valentinos, Soft Tigers and Infinity Sound on May 24th at the Cooly Hotel (Flyer pictured above).

What they're doing?
Working on upcoming gigs and producing! Got some original tracks and a remix in the pipeline, and will definitely keep the mix sets coming! Currently working on a mix compilation for sponsors - up and coming fashion brand Rockaway NYC.

The guys from MGMT make some pretty sweet music, I stumbled across the music video for Time To Pretend, it's quite interesting, who ever made it obviously smokes a lot of wilson or is on way to much acid or neither.
