EVIL NINE

Photobucket

Evil Nine have just released their new single They Live on Adam Freelands label Marine Parade. It's a prelude to the new album which is being dropped in October. I highly recommend you buy the single which contains remixes by massive names like Rogerseventytwo, Breakbot and Trevor Loveys. I've posted the Rogerseventytwo remix below. It's a fucking beast - one of the best tracks ive heard in a long time.

SURECUT KIDS

Photobucket

Surecut Kids are Junior Kid and Kid Kaos, A couple of dj’s from the Gold Coast. Surecut Kids have been around for a little while now, I’ve seen them play a handful of times and they are always some of the most entertaining dj’s to listen to, With use of four turntables they produce some very interesting stuff, using scratching and turntablism as their mixing techniques.

They play all different genres of music from hip-hop, funk, rock, breaks, swing, dance, 80s and the list goes on. I swear if they didn’t even have a crowd to play to they would still jump around and enjoy themselves just as much. I think this comes down to the fact they just love what they do. It’s their own sound that has set them apart from the pack.

I highly recommend listening to their new mix and you'll understand exactly what I’m talking about. Check out www.myspace.com/surecut to see if they have any gigs coming up around your area.

D Is For Disco, E Is For Dancing

Photobucket

Thee Bang Gang Deejays have got another release on the way after the huge success from 'Light Sound Dance'. This one entitled 'D Is For Disco, E Is For Dancing' will be releasing worldwide around October/November through modular. Here's a little minimix to give everyone a taste of what we might be able to expect, I wasn't surprised to hear they had squeezed 45 tracks into 10 minutes.
